Way back when we were young and good looking carefree the Supertrucker and I would go away for weekends quite randomly. We loved heading to Apollo Bay particularly. We'd eat out, we'd book motels with spas, we'd drink bubbly. It was really really noice.
I have a sweet tooth and prefer sweetish wines whereas the Supertrucker doesn't mind them a little dryer. Enter Alchemy. I first discovered the cordials way back then and we would occasionally take a bottle of Love with us to add to our bubbles. I loved it because it added a touch of sweetness. He liked that it didn't turn the bubbly sickly sweet. It was all win.
Recently I was asked if I'd like to try some of the classic Alchemy range and had a moment of flashback. This time though we're mixing with water and making super cute icypoles for the kiddles. A world away from the sleep ins and raunch romance of days gone by but still a lot of fun!
My favourite is the Dew Drops, and I may or may not have hidden that bottle away with the intention of mixing with lemonade and vodka. Bring it.
