These are a few of my favourite things...

Admittedly, I don't like roses all that much and there's been enough rain the past few days that raindrops aren't thrilling me either.

Let's say sunshine on irises and gerberas yes?

Kittens make me sneeze and give me asthma, but they are still terribly cute.

I have a wicked coffee machine that kicks a copper kettle's butt.

Warm woollen mittens however... I do not have any and I will be needing some soon!!

One of my favourite things about blogging is being able to try new products and tell you about them. What I love even more than that is sharing the love and giving away awesome stuff! I'm a closet comper on occasion, and it is always so fabulous to have a win. I love being able to give someone else that joy.

As I mentioned on my Facebook page recently, if you're a blog puritan you may want to click elsewhere this week. I absolutely understand and respect the opinion that blogs should be PR free, and to those of you this describes I'll hopefully catch you on the flipside.

However for those who like the chance to win awesome things, starting Wednesday I have a full week of giveaways and competitions all related to our recent move to the country in some way. Fun one right? We've certainly had fun putting it all together!


In the meantime, one of my all time favourite things is a Tim Tam slam. I didn't know there was a name for it until I was at university (and that may be one of the few things I remember learning!) but truly is there anything more decadent and delicious?

At the moment Tim Tams are making thousands of unique TV ads that will show both on TV and online. The difference between these and run of the mill advertising is that these ads are being made by fans! As a long-time die-hard Tim Tam fan I spent a happy hour or so watching the fan made ads on YouTube (and even picked up a couple of AWESOME recipes!).
