Take me away...

Do you have a scent that immediately takes you back in time?

I have a few.

Men's Rexona sport spray deodorant to this day takes me back to the heady days of my first true love. You know, the one that was going to last forever and ever? Except that it didn't... but it felt like forever at the time and the memories are sweet anyway.

When I attended the most recent Blogger's Brunch I was given a very cute vial of perfume from Aroma Divine as I walked out. I tucked it in my bag and promptly forgot about it, because I'm not really a perfume girl in general.

When I unpacked my bag that night though I gave it a little spray, and was instantly transported back to my honeymoon days. I'd received a sample of the Coco Lolo scent and the lush coconut brought back memories of lazing on beach chairs, drinking cocktails and other honeymoonesque type activities that best be left unmentioned. Hi Mum.

I got in touch with the company, so taken was I with the scent. They are a very new brand who well and truly live up to their promise of whisking you away with their beautiful scents. I've been lucky enough to try a couple of their other products as well now, and they are all simply delightful. Because I am a little bit shallow, the packaging makes my heart sing a bit as well. Plus the eu de parfums are the perfect size for your handbag!

I may be a perfume girl after all!

It feels a little bit luxurious to this Mama to have a bottle of perfume in my handbag. It isn't something I've done since before I had children to be honest. It's like a little reminder that underneath the bleary sleep deprived eyes and the endless endlessness of parenting, there is still a woman who is an entire person in and of herself. A woman who likes nice things occasionally. And even dare I say deserves them sometimes.

So I'd love to know what scents take you back in time? Where are you transported to?

AND if you'd like the chance to try out Aroma Divine for yourself, I'm giving $50 worth of product to one lucky person. You can enter right here.

I received products from Aroma Divine for the purpose of this review. They are truly beautiful and I am so pleased to be able to support a wonderful new Aussie business. No payment was offered or accepted and all opinions are my own.
